I help moms of littles feel like themselves again—
with 20-minute hobbies that fit real life.

No babysitter. No guilt.
No waiting for "someday."

20 minutes isn’t the ceiling—it’s the starting point.

We begin small (like, today small)…
and grow from there as life allows.

Hi, I'm Shanae

Give Me My 20 Minutes ->

I didn’t always have hobbies.

For a long time, I was all work and school—
the kind of person who didn’t really need hobbies.

And then I became a mom…
and suddenly I didn’t know what I liked anymore.

At one point, I literally googled “hobbies.”
Scrolled through lists like, is this… me?

That’s how far removed I felt from myself.

What changed wasn’t a big life overhaul. It was 20 minutes.

Small, finish-tonight projects. Trying things without overthinking. Letting it be messy and count anyway.

Now? I have the opposite problem— too many hobbies, not enough time.

But more importantly, I feel like me again.

I’m a therapist and a mom—but this isn’t therapy.

This is real life, plus what I’ve learned along the way.

I believe:
action comes before motivation
small wins build momentum
boundaries protect your time (and your sanity)
and having something that’s yours makes you
a better, more present mom

I’ve lived that shift myself. And it changed everything.

“Trying to start a hobby felt weirdly overwhelming…
but thinking in 20-minute blocks made it feel doable.
I’m finally starting to feel like myself again.”
